What age should children start coming?

It is generally recommended that children, have their first dental check-up between ages 3 and 4, depending on the child's maturation and ability to tolerate intra-oral procedures. Usually a valuable technique to prepare your child for their first Check-up is whereby you sit on the couch, and your child is laying with his/her head on your lap. this simulates the dental chair position and allows
you to fully access all of your child's teeth, You can then dry- brush the teeth, so your child can get used to the feeling of somebody else brushing their teeth.
It is also recommended that you bring your younger children along, to accompany you on your check-ups, so you act as a role model for them.
